Working with clients is so rewarding. Every client is unique – they come with different visions, different tastes, and sometimes even different obstacles. What all clients have in common though, is this: they all want someone who will be there for them, no matter what.

When Micaela and Daniel first reached out to us, they explained they wanted a beautiful and rustic forest wedding, using Micaela’s parents’ backyard, overlooking the Whistle Bear Golf Club. With Micaela’s parents as the owners of Whistle Bear, an elegant and prestigious establishment in Cambridge, I was put in the unique position of combining rustic charm with sophisticated glamour, bringing Micaela’s vision to life with a touch of Fresh Look Design’s flair.

There were quite a few challenges in planning this wedding – the backyard itself was dark with no lighting, black mulch in the ceremony space could turn everything black, and working under COVID restrictions meant a very particular layout.

We handled it ALL.

We brought in hundreds of candles to create a romantic vibe that brought much needed light to a dark space. We put down gorgeous area rugs in the ceremony space to protect Micaela’s dress from turning black. And we handled that layout without a hitch. We weren’t just in charge of design and floral. We were in charge of everything.

Micaela was the first bride to book our new package. We now offer the Design & Month Of package, where we not only design your wedding, but we plan and execute it perfectly. It’s the full Fresh Look Design experience.

We are a group of planners and designers. We know what works, how things should look, and how to fix a crisis. We handle the venue communications, last minute details, and all the logistics. This leaves the happy couple to focus on each other, and not on logistical nightmares.
